I wanted to convey an important note on water safety. Please, please, please speak to your guest or family prior to them renting your home. They need to understand that the Gulf waters can be treacherous even deadly. Kayaking and swimming is at ones own risk. No life guards are on duty. If going by boat, jet ski or kayak have a float plan prepared for someone who is on land. This will include launch time and return time along with potential route and destination. If in a boat, jet ski or kayak life vest are a must!!!!! If going to the beach by foot and plan on swimming let someone know where you will be and time you plan on returning.

It is very important to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate - this means water or a electrolyte supplement not booze!!!!! Booze is nice but will obviously not the proper way to hydrate.
