Upper Captiva Fire and Rescue District will hold the following meetings on Friday & Saturday, September 20 and 21, 2024:

This Friday September 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM the board will hold a Special Shade Meeting to discuss the Chief Martin lawsuit. The Shade meeting begins with a short public meeting which will be quickly suspended to allow for a meeting, closed to the public, for the board to discuss issues with the district’s Attorney. At the conclusion of the Shade meeting the public meeting will be re-opened and adjourned.

Saturday September 21, 2024, at 10:00AM the board will hold the Second Budget hearing where the final millage rate levy of Ad Valorem Taxes will be set.

Again, on September 21, 2024, directly following the second budget hearing the board will hold its Regular September Board Meeting.
