The Seventh Annual Fun Run, sponsored by the Upper Captiva Fire and Rescue District, will take place on Tuesday, December 31, at 9:00 am, leaving from the intersection of Rum Road and Bartlett Parkway. This 5K run/walk event is a fund raising effort for the Fire District. Funds raised or donated toward this event are intended to be used for community projects. Participation is $35 for adults, $20 for children under 12, and all registered participants will receive a tee shirt.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Sponsors will have their business/family/individual name listed on the back of the Fun Run shirt. Make sure you include exactly how you want the name of your organization or family to appear. You may make your sponsorship by mailing a check to the contact address below. The deadline for sponsorship is December 7 to allow time for printing the shirts.
